May I ask you a question about your beautiful pattern Felicity?
Does M1 mean M1 away? I’m just not sure which way to increase. I went to knitting help.com and suddenly there was a multitude of ways to increase.
Thanks for the beautiful pattern. I’m making it into a chemo cap for a dear friend.

Thank you for the Felicity hat! It’s very simple and can be played up by using fun yarns. Almost finished my first one using Berroco Alpaca yarn…warm and soft.
I appreciate your sharing your work.

Elaine
Hi! Love the Felicity hat! And I was wondering about the M1. I’ve made three of them (three daughters) and the M1 leaves holes. Is it supposed to? I told them it was part of the design, then decided maybe I’d better check that out to make sure there isn’t another way I should be doing it. I pick up the ladder part between two stitches to do my M1. Correct?
Thanks for such a great hat design! You rock!

Hi Jan,
Thanks so much for the positive feedback!! I really appreciate it ;0)
I make one and then knit it through the back of the loop. That seems to make the most invisible increase for me. I do try to pull it tightly, though to make it as invisible as possible.
I hope that helps!
